Harry is a successful producer and performer with multiple runs of his own hit shows such as the likes of Big Band Blast, No Sugar Canderel Please, Happy Shabalala, Three Minutes Past Love and Songs from the Mediterranean.
He is the Creative Director of The Pop Up Entertainment Company specialising in high-end entertainment experiences for the South African corporate market.
Harry is double Naledi theatre award-recipient for his musical Big Band Blast and for his role as Edna Turnblad in the Broadway musical Hairspray. He has had 5 Naledi theatre award nominations.
Harry is a successful voice over artist both locally and abroad for radio, TV and cinema.
He is also a Jazz and Swing recording artist - having released his debut CD My Favourite Swings with a 17-piece big band under the baton of maestro Graham Scott and musical arrangements by Bryan Schimmel and Dan Selsick. Harry is currently working on a new original jazz album with Canadian jazz diva Rita di Gent called “I wanna dress you in chocolate” for release mid-2014.
Every two years, Harry performs a series of jazz concerts in Toronto and Montreal together with a stellar ensemble of Canadian musicians and now he is currently in pre-production for his Canadian winter jazz concerts at the end of this year.
In May of 2014, Harry launches a world tour of his one-man stand-up comedy show
“O ELLINARAS”, which translates to ‘THE GREEK” which he will perform to Greek audiences in London, Melbourne, Sydney, Toronto, Montreal, Paris, Chicago and New York.
This show premiered in Toronto in 2011 to capacity houses and Harry is thrilled at the concept of touring as he turns the big four zero in May of next year! If it’s all Greek to you, it’s because it is!!!
