Born in Zimbabwe and lived there for the early part of my childhood then moved to the UK.
I have always loved cooking and baking from a young age but only learnt how to decorate in my early 20’s when a friend suggested we go for a day course on cupcake decorating. I fell passionately in love with it from that day and I have not stopped practicing since.
Generally love working with my hands and being creative. I get lots of inspiration from cake designers like Sylvia Weinstock.
After I had been baking and decorating cakes for a few years, I was eager to share my knowledge and Elegant Toppings was born in 2013 out of this desire to share my knowledge. Initially as a part time business where I would teach from our then home in Birmingham UK.
We moved to South Africa in January 2014 and decided to continue full time with Elegant Toppings as its my passion and couldn’t and still cant imagine my life without cake!
